Description

Antarctica is a land mass, a continent. It holds the title of coldest, driest and windiest location on earth. But even in such harsh conditions, Antarctica remains the home of a large variety of extraordinary wildlife. You will see wildlife everywhere, yet Antarctica is the least biodiverse continent on the planet. Only primitive plants like algae, fungi, mosses, lichens and liverworts have evolved to survive in the cold, dry climate of this land. Marine life is rich and abundant fueled from a food web based upon phytoplakton, krill, squid and fish. There is something for all here! And what more could you ask for when you have 24 hours of day light!
